BestEver.com Names Lowe's As Nation's Best Home Improvement Store

Lowe's has been selected as the best home improvement retailer in the United States for 2003-2004 by BestEver.com. The company received the designation based on a variety of factors that set it apart from its competition.

"Lowe's led the pack in just about every category we reviewed," said Joe Mierzwa, President of BestEver.com and its parent company ProSe Associates, Inc. "It scored well for price, selection, and customer service, which we ranked as significantly better than that offered by its competitors. Store personnel were considered more helpful and to possess better knowledge about the company's products and services."

Lowe's also bettered the competition in terms of store design and appearance, Mierzwa said. "Lowe's stores were considered to have better lighting and organization, and provided a more attractive appearance and better overall shopping experience than the stores of other home improvement retailers," he stated.

Lowe's charitable and community activities include supporting the United Way and the National Garden, as well as local programs designed to educate the public about fire safety. The company operates more than 850 stores in 45 states, and its website, www.lowes.com is easy to use and navigate.
