BestEver.com Names Ford Motor Company America's Best Truck Maker

BestEver.com has selected the Ford Motor Company as the best truck maker in the United States for 2003-2004. Ford's F-Series trucks received high marks for quality and durability, according to BestEver.com's President, Joe Mierzwa. The compact Ford Ranger also scored well with consumers.

"Consumers ranked Ford's trucks higher for initial quality than the ratings received by competitor's vehicles," Mierzwa said. "Ford also got good reviews for their dealership network, and for the quality of service that those dealers provided after the sale."

Ford's advertising for its trucks was viewed as being honest and the company was perceived as delivering as much or more than it promised to purchasers.

Ford Motor Company is redesigning its trucks for the 2004 model year.  Mierzwa noted that the BestEver.com ranking applied to the current model year. "New models and redesigns sometimes have bugs that need to be worked out," he said. "But based on other surveys conducted over the past decade, it's highly likely that Ford's trucks will continue to score high with consumers."
