BestEver.com Names Caesars Palace As Nation's ' Best Casino Hotel

 One of Las Vegas' old favorites is BestEver.com's pick as the best American casino hotel in 2003-2004.

 According to Joe Mierzwa, President of BestEver.com and its parent company, ProSe Associates, Inc., "Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is this year's selection as the best casino hotel in the country." Caesars scored high for quality of accommodations, dining and entertainment choices, and shopping options. It also received good marks for its sports and race book, and its location in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.

 "While casino hotels have proliferated across the country, to most Americans, gambling means Las Vegas. And though other, newer venues have made inroads into Caesars' reputation as the best place to stay and gamble in Las Vegas, many consumers still consider Caesars to offer the most authentic Las Vegas experience," Mierzwa said. "The Forum Shops and the many outstanding restaurant options at Caesars rank high with tourists from across the U.S."  Caesars' three outdoor heated pools also rated high, although travelers noted that the pool areas (especially the one where topless sunbathing is permitted) are not suitable for kids.

 Mierzwa noted that Caesars' ranking came in a survey period before the debut of the new Celine Dion show, A New Day. "It will be interesting to see what effect her addition to the attractions at Caesars will have on next year's ranking," Mierzwa added.
